Stockholm:DD, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson presented the Royal Order of the Polar Star to former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
The Order was conferred on Stoltenberg for his extraordinary efforts for Swedish interests.

The Royal Order of the Polar Star was conferred on former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on 22 October 2024, along with a further nine foreign citizens. Stoltenberg was awarded the Order for his significant contributions in support of Sweden’s NATO accession.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson formally presented the Polar Star on behalf of HM The King in conjunction with the annual Munich Security Conference.
“Jens Stoltenberg’s leadership and diplomatic skills played a key role in Sweden’s accession to NATO.
