Srinagar, (TDD): As what seems to be another reason for chaos in the Assembly, veteran separatist leader late Syed Ali Shah Geelani figures among the deceased legislators who will be remembered in the House during the obituary reference scheduled on Tuesday.
According to the list of business, a copy of which is in possession of The Diplomat, the Speaker would make reference to the demise of ex-lawmakers including late Syed Shah Geelani.
Geelani, who passed away in 2021, has represented Sopore assembly segment thrice in J&K Assembly. He won assembly elections in 1972, 1977 and 1987. Sources said that BJP is all set to object to the inclusion of separatist leader in the obituary list of the Assembly-(TDD)
