Leh:DD, Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson, convened a meeting to discuss the alignment for the Leh-Nimoo Four Lane Highway Project.
The meeting was held at the Conference Hall of the Council Secretariat, LAHDC, Leh.
The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineer PWD, ACR Leh, Tehsildar Leh, Officer Commanding 81 RCC, Executive Engineers from the Construction and R&B Divisions, Naib Tehsildar Basgo, and Officer Incharge 81 RCC.
The meeting began with a detailed presentation by Vivek Kumar, Site Engineer, who presented a comprehensive overview of the proposed alignment for the highway. His Power Point presentation highlighted various aspects of the project, including key routes, potential challenges, and the expected benefits of the four-lane highway, which is poised to significantly improve connectivity between Leh and Nimoo.
After reviewing the proposal, Chairman/CEC Gyalson emphasized the importance of a collaborative approach and suggested a joint survey involving Concern Councillors, Nambardar, all relevant departments and other stakeholders. He urged the officials to work together to finalize the alignment, ensuring all challenges are addressed.DD
