Terrorists group trapped in Hiranagar’s Sanyal, exchange of fire reported

Security grid tightened in border areas of Kathua

Kathua:DD, A group of terrorists believed to have been trapped by the security forces and fiery gunbattle has started in Hiranagar tehsil of Kathua district.
As per the reports, the security forces received inputs from the intelligence about the presence of terrorists in Hiranagar.
Following the input, the reports claim that the security forces rushed to the spot and challenged the hiding terrorists.
However, the terrorists opened indiscriminate firing on the security forces, triggering a gun fight.
The security has been heightened in the areas along the International Border in Kathua whereas the anti-terror operation is still under way.
The exchange of fire between the security forces and the terrorists continue. There was no report of any casuality so far. The fresh reports will be updated as soon as they are recieved.DD
