‘LG shall be a friend of people, and the Govt’

Jammu:DD, National Conference President, Dr Farooq Abdullah Monday said that those who wanted to divide Jammu and Kashmir have failed.
“I hope that Jammu will benefit most with the darbar move,” said Dr Abdullah, while speaking to the media, extending gratitude to the people of Jammu, and CCI who welcomed the re-opening of the darbar move.
He lauded Maharaja Hari Singh who initiated the Darbar Move practice for the unity of Jammu as well as Kashmir.
On statehood, he responded that “…. It will also be completed, and sought restoration of statehood”
Meanwhile, the Govt is fulfilling the promises made with the people, like darbar move practice has been restored.
“He (LG) is sitting on the files. The files are still with him. They are not moving. For God sake, move the files for the benefit of the people. He is delaying. The only thing he is doing. He shall be a friend of the people, and the Govt,” he said, while making a reference to the business rule file as well.
Meanwhile, the BJP shall not do politics instead help the people of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.DD
