Three died as two residential houses collapse at Baghna Panchayat in Ramban

More than 30 houses damaged in Dharamkund

RAMBAN: DD, Atleast three people have reportedly lost their lives in two separate incidents of house collapse in Baghna Panchayat in Ramban District.
“We have received reports about the loss of three lives due to the collapse of two residential houses at Baghna Panchayat,” said an official.
The official said that flash floods hit a village near Chenab Bridge Dharam Kund, following a cloud burst amid heavy rains.


The official said that more than 30 houses / other structures have also been damaged in Dharamkund.


Among these 30 houses, the official said that 10 residential houses were completely damaged.
Meanwhile, the trapped people have been successfully rescued and relocated to safer places. The administration, police and other rescue teams are working tirelessly to ensure rescue of the people in affected areas in Ramban. Further details are awaited.DD
