Handwara,(DD) Security forces on Thursday arrested three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) associated with a terrorist group and recovered arms and ammunition in the Wajhama area of Handwara, in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A senior police officer said a joint team of security personnel intercepted the suspects and seized the arms and ammunition from them. The three individuals were taken into custody on the spot.
The officer added that further details, including their identities and specific links to the group, will be disclosed after preliminary investigations. A case has been registered, and the probe is underway(DD)
