Jammu : DD, The Military Civil Fusion Capsule (MCFC) commenced on 15 Oct 25 with an inaugural session at Tiger Division Jammu, which will continue for ten days and culminate on 29 Oct 25. Welcoming all the stakeholders, GOC Tiger Division highlighted the critical role of synergy between the Armed Forces, Civil Administration, and Security Agencies in ensuring stability and progress in the region through enhanced synergy, coordination and integration as a ‘Whole of Region Approach’.
The MCFC aims to deepen institutional collaboration, extending beyond strategic levels to grassroots level governance, which is crucial in addressing multidimensional challenges including conventional security threats, and issues in the cyber and social media domains.
Apart from the Security Forces to include Indian Army, Indian Air Force, BSF, CRPF, CISF, JKP, IRP, Veterans etc the capsule is also being attended by Academicians of IIT, IIM Jammu and officials from multiple civil departments such as the Public Welfare Department, Rural Development Department, Flood Control, Information Department, Jal Shakti, Health, Education & Social Welfare, Youth and Sports and others.
The capsule aims to achieve synergy among all stakeholders through close coordination, cross-establishment visits, and enlightening lectures by esteemed speakers and high-level dignitaries. On the opening day, the esteemed delegates, various speakers highlighted Jammu’s seven decades of exemplary cooperation between military and civil institutions fostering confidence and resilience among the people. Referencing operations like SINDOOR, RAHAT, and SANJAY, where joint efforts saved lives and restored infrastructure, the speakers emphasised that fusion is the key to regional progress.
The event seeks to refine and replicate models of cooperation beneficial for the nation. Warm appreciation was extended to all participants for reaffirming their commitment to unity, service, and national integration.DD
