Poonch, DD, The District Police Poonch today organized a grand Tiranga Rally to celebrate the pride and significance of the national flag, aiming to promote unity, integrity, and patriotism among the people.
The rally was flagged off by SSP Poonch, Sh. Shafket Hussain (JKPS), from District Police Lines (DPL) Poonch. He was accompanied by SP Operations, Sh. Sachin Gupta, Additional SP Poonch, Sh. Mohan Sharma, and other senior officers of Poonch Police.
The rally followed a vibrant route, starting from DPL Poonch, moving via SK Bridge to Kalai and Chandak, and culminating back at the Sports Stadium, Poonch. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the civil society, the media fraternity, and police personnel across all ranks.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Poonch extended heartfelt thanks to the civil society, media fraternity, police officers, and personnel for their active participation in making the rally a success. He emphasized the importance of the rally in instilling pride in the national flag and fostering a sense of unity and patriotism among citizens.
