Taipei: In a surprising turn of events, Taiwan Security Agencies have arrested its top ranking officials for selling secrets to China.
The arrest has come at a time when China has started its military drill close to the sea at Taiwan as both countries developed hostile relations.
These relations developed because China claims Taiwan as it’s territory, while Taiwan rejects the claim.
As a threat to the world powers supporting Tiwan and the leadership, the Red Army has started a war exercise in the surrounding areas of Taiwan leading to further escalation of tension between the two nations.
Importantly, Taiwan is receiving military aid from the US and other European countries amid threats.
The recent arrest of the top intelligence officer has put more pressure on Taiwani military as their secrets have been leaked to the enemy country.
The reports claimed that an investigation revealed more arrests in the matter cautioning the core strategic group in the country. The story will be updated as soon as more details emerge.DD
