Srinagar: DD, Ahead of the upcoming 4th Session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, the government Saturday issued detailed guidelines to regulate the entry and parking of vehicles in and around the Civil Secretariat and Assembly Complex in Srinagar.
The advisory issued through Circular No. 20-JK(GAD) of 2025 directs that vehicles of the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers, Speaker, and Legislators shall be parked in designated areas within the Assembly Complex.
Vehicles belonging to media personnel and Assembly staff will be parked in the marked space within the Secretariat premises, while escort vehicles are to be parked at Kashmir Haat (Exhibition Complex).
The order further states that no private vehicles of officers, officials, or police personnel will be allowed entry into the Secretariat premises during the session.
All officers and officials have been directed to cooperate with the Senior Superintendent of Police (Security) and SSP (Traffic) to ensure smooth regulation of vehicle movement and parking.
