Jammu :DD,The Sub Divisional Magistrate of Banihal has issued a notice announcing the diversion of traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway from January 28 to January 31, 2025.
The temporary diversion is necessary to conduct load testing of a newly constructed flyover bridge on the National Highway. According to the notice, all vehicles traveling from the Srinagar side will be redirected to the Old National Highway through Banihal Town until the completion of the load testing. The decision comes following a letter from MG Contractors Pvt. Ltd., who are handling the construction project.
The notice has been circulated to various officials including the District Magistrate Ramban, Police Superintendents, and local authorities to ensure smooth implementation of the traffic diversion plan,DD
