Ramban, TDD, To ensure the safety of the general public, travelers, and drivers, the District Magistrate Ramban, vide order no. ADMR/964-77 dated 21-09-2024, has granted permission to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to shift and launch girders at viaduct-02 A1 side NB & SB at Ramsoo on the Jammu Srinagar NHW.
Due to this crucial construction work, the traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway will be suspended between Nashri and the NAVYUG Tunnel on September 22, 2024, and September 23, 2024 (intervening night) from 2300 hours (September 22) to 0500 hours (September 23).
In anticipation of the traffic halt, no movement of any kind of vehicle will be allowed after 1500 hours from Qazigund towards Jammu and 1400 hours from Udhampur towards Srinagar.
