Kishtwar, TDD,A heartbreaking accident occurred this evening at the Dangduru Dam site in Kishtwar, Jammu, where two lives were tragically lost and several others were injured.
The incident took place when a vehicle, carrying 11 to 12 passengers, lost control and plunged into a deep gorge.
Officials reported that the vehicle, which was fully loaded with passengers, veered off the road under yet-to-be-determined circumstances. The crash claimed the immediate lives of two individuals, who were confirmed dead at the scene by emergency responders.
In a swift response, rescue teams rushed to the site and transported the injured to the District Hospital in Kishtwar for urgent treatment. Although the full extent of the injuries remains unclear, it is understood that several passengers are in critical condition.
