Banihal :DD, In a tragic Road accident today, an eleven-passenger Tata mobile vehicle belonging to two Bakarwal families of Tehsil Teryath in Rajouri district suffered a catastrophic mishap near the railway bridge at Banihal.
The vehicle, on its way to Srinagar, had lost control, turned turtle, and crashed into the bridge, leaving nine passengers with serious injuries.
A person died on the spot, while a baby girl surprisingly escaped unhurt in the accident. The injured were taken straight away to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) at Banihal, where they were given initial medical treatment.
All nine, because of the seriousness of their injuries, were afterwards referred to the Government Medical College (GMC) at Anantnag for specialized treatment. Police Registered the case and further investigation going on,DD
