Udhampur :TDD,Police rescued 05 Bovines, 02 Accused arrested, 01 vehicle seized.
Team of Police Post Ghordi led by its Incharge have foiled one bovine smuggling bid in which 04 bovines have been rescued from 01 bovine smuggler namely Zakir Hussain S/O Mohd. Yousef R/O Dhandal, Ramnagar who was taking these bovines towards Kashmir valley by foot without any valid permission.
All the bovines were rescued and said smuggler has been arrested.
In this regards, case FIR No. 120/2024 under relevant sections of law stand registered at Police Station Ramnagar.
In another case Police team of PS Udhampur rescued one bovine from a vehicle (load carrier) bearing regd. No. JK14K 1764. Accused driver namely namely Shakar Hussain S/O Qasim Din R/O Dhandal, Ramnagar has been arrested on spot.
In this coonection, case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Udhampur.
Further investigation of the cases are underway.TDD
