Udhampur :TDD, Police team of Police Station Majalta led by its SHO while conducting surprise vehicle checking at Garh Samna Banj area and a bike bearing registration No. JK08L 5355 was made to stop for checking purpose.
During frisking of the rider and pillion of the said vehicle, Police team recovered 04 grams of Heroin like substance from both the accused persons. Both of them have been arrested on spot.
The arrested persons were identified as Diwakar Divedi S/O Sunil Divedi R/O A/P Billawar, Kathua and Javed Ahmed S/O Nek Mohd. R/o Gurha Kalyal, Ramkot, Kathua.
In this connection, A case FIR No. 118/2024 under sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Majalta and further investigation of the case has been taken up.TDD
