Traffic restored on Mendhar-Poonch road

Mendhar: TDD,Security forces have recovered fire crackers after hours long operation following reports of two suspicious objects that led to the closing of vehicular traffic on Mendhar-Poonch road for more than 10 hours.
As per the sources, the Indian army and police jointly launched the operation when a report of two suspicious objects was received last night.
Accordingly, the alert sounded and the road was closed.
Meanwhile, the help of the bomb disposal squad was sought.
“When the suspected objects were checked by the BDS, it turned out to be boxes of fire crackers, ” the sources said.
The army and the police have warned the trouble makers to avoid such things that create panic among the people. However, the police have taken up investigation.TDD
