Two suspects detained in Mandi, weapons recovered

POONCH:DD, Police today claimed to have detained two suspected persons in Mandi in Poonch District and recovered two weapons on their disclosure.
As per the officials, an anti-terror operation was conducted during the intervening night of August 30/31 under the supervision of Additional SP Poonch and they raided a house following under the jurisdiction of police station Mandi.


During the raid, they said that one person was taken into custody for questioning and later, another person was picked up by the police for his further investigation.
Both of them were taken to Jallian village where one detained suspect used to live on rent.
The officials said that two weapons were also recovered from the house of one of the detained persons. Further investigation is on.DD
