Srinagar, (DD): The Army on Thursday announced that two terrorists were gunned down during a joint operation with Jammu and Kashmir Police in the Gurez sector of Bandipora district, foiling a possible infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC).

According to the Chinar Corps, the operation was launched after specific intelligence inputs were provided by J&K Police. “Alert troops noticed suspicious movement along the LoC. When challenged, the terrorists opened indiscriminate fire. The troops retaliated effectively, leading to the neutralisation of two terrorists,” the Army said in a statement on X.
