TWO TERRORISTS NEUTRALIZED, WAR LIKE STORES RECOVERED , OPERATION CONCLUDED

Jammu, September 13, 2024: A joint operation conducted by the Indian Army’s Rising Star Corps and Jammu and Kashmir Police on September 11 in Khandara in Basantgarh near the Kathua-Udhampur border under Operation Khandara resulted in the neutralization of two terrorists and the recovery of a significant amount of war-like stores.
The operation was launched based on specific intelligence inputs, leading to a cordon and search operation in the designated area. As the security forces closed in, the terrorists opened fire, triggering an encounter. In the ensuing exchange of fire, two terrorists were eliminated.
Following the neutralization of the terrorists, a thorough search of the area was conducted. The security forces recovered a substantial quantity of war-like stores, including weapons, ammunition, and other equipment.The operation concluded successfully with the elimination of the terrorists and the seizure of their arsenal, thwarting their plans to disrupt peace and security in the region.
