UDHAMPUR,TDD :- In a vibrant display of democratic engagement, District Election Officer Saloni Rai today released a Dogri SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) song titled “Vote Sare Pana” at the Mini Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex in Udhampur. The event, attended by SDM Ramnagar Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, marks a significant step in the district’s voter awareness campaign for the upcoming Assembly Elections.
The song, performed by young duo singers Primta Rajput and Tamana Rajput, both first-time voters themselves, aims to inspire voters across the district to exercise their democratic right. The composition was conceived by Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, who serves as both the Returning Officer for the 62-Ramnagar Assembly Constituency and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Ramnagar.

District Election Officer Saloni Rai commended the young performers and the efforts of SDM Ramnagar and the District Election Cell in reaching diverse segments of society through various outreach initiatives under the SVEEP program. She highlighted the song’s potential to raise awareness among women and young voters alike.

“Such creative efforts are crucial in enhancing voter awareness and fostering a transparent and inclusive electoral process,” Rai emphasized.

This release follows two earlier SVEEP songs that have already gained popularity among voters. These previous songs were released by PK Pole, Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu & Kashmir, and DEO Udhampur Saloni Rai.
The event represents a significant achievement in Udhampur District’s ongoing campaign to maximize voter turnout and promote an informed and participatory electoral environment. As the Assembly Elections-2024 approach, such initiatives play a crucial role in ensuring a robust democratic process. TDD
