Udhampur :TDD, In a display of exuberant celebration, the Udhampur district unit of the National Conference (NC) took to the streets today, marking the party’s return to power in Jammu and Kashmir with vibrant festivities. The formation of the new NC-led government in the region sparked a wave of enthusiasm among party workers and supporters in Udhampur.
The celebrations commenced at the Mini Stadium, where party members gathered in large numbers. The air was filled with the rhythmic beats of dhols and nagadas (traditional drums), creating an atmosphere of triumph and joy. From the stadium, a massive rally was organized, winding its way through the city’s main intersections and thoroughfares.
As the procession moved through Udhampur, it drew attention from locals and passersby, with many joining in the festivities. The beats of the dhols and nagadas continued to reverberate through the streets, adding to the festive ambiance.
The grand finale of the celebration took place at Gol Market, a central location in Udhampur. Here, the rally culminated in a gathering where the festivities reached their peak. Party workers distributed sweets among the attendees and general public, symbolizing the sharing of their joy with the community at large.
