Udhampur:-TDD,A special session on stress management was conducted today at the Sher e Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur for the Probationary Dy. Superintendents of Police (Dy.SsP) batch 17th. The session was led by Dr. Suresh Kumar Saini, a retired Inspector General (IG) of the Railway Protection Force (RPF).
Dr. Saini highlighted the increasing prevalence of stress, especially among individuals working in high-pressure professions like law enforcement. He underscored the challenges faced by police personnel in managing stress due to the demanding nature of their work.
Key topics discussed during the session included the rising stress levels, its impact on health, the importance of work-life balance, effective stress management techniques, and the role of organizations in addressing stress-related issues.
Dr. Saini concluded by emphasizing the significance of stress management for both personal happiness and professional success. He advised individuals to adopt healthy habits, practice self-care, and seek support to effectively manage stress and lead a more balanced life.
