Udhampur, TDD, In a significant development, the District Police Udhampur has arrested a man who had been absconding since 2020.
In an effort to expedite the disposal of cases involving absconding accused persons, the District Police had directed all units to form special teams to apprehend these individuals.
Acting on this directive, a police team from Udhampur police station, led by Raghubir Choudhary Station House Officer (SHO) arrested Mohd Saquib, a resident of Chari Sial, Udhampur. Saquib was wanted in connection with FIR No. 482/2020, registered under sections 341, 323, 147, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.The accused has been presented before a court of law for further proceedings.TDD
