Udhampur Protests Demand Justice for Bangladeshi Hindus

Udhampur:TDD,Today Udhampur witnessed a fervent demonstration by the entire Hindu community against the escalating persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh. A peaceful protest march commenced at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, traversing the city’s main intersections and culminating at the Deputy Commissioner’s office Dhar Road Udhampur.

The protesters expressed their deep anguish and concern over the increasing violence and discrimination faced by the Hindu minority in Bangladesh. A memorandum was submitted to the District Commissioner, urging the Government of India to take immediate and decisive action to safeguard the interests of Hindus residing in Bangladesh. The protesters emphasized that the Hindu community in India stands united in support of their brethren across the border and expects the government to pressurize Bangladesh to cease all forms of persecution.
The rally served as a stark reminder of the shared heritage and cultural ties between India and Bangladesh and underscored the need for regional cooperation to ensure the safety and well-being of all minorities.TDD
