Veterans’ concerns to be addressed soon, Say Senior officials at Armed Forces Day in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, (DD): Senior military leaders assured ex-servicemen at the Armed Forces Veterans Day event in Kishtwar that their ongoing concerns would soon be resolved.

Col Vikrant Gupta, Commandant of the 7th Battalion Assam Rifles, and Brigadier JBS Rathi, Commander of the 5th Sector, confirmed that the issues faced by veterans have been taken up with senior officials and would be addressed in the near future.

Speaking at the event, both leaders emphasized the military’s commitment to the welfare of ex-servicemen, underlining that the government was keen on resolving their grievances. “All concerns raised by veterans have been brought to the attention of higher authorities, and solutions will be implemented soon,” Col Gupta assured the gathering.

Brigadier Rathi echoed the sentiment, reinforcing the importance of ensuring veterans are properly cared for after their service. His remarks resonated deeply with the veterans in attendance, who expressed appreciation for the ongoing efforts to address their needs.

The event, which commemorates the contributions of veterans, highlighted the strong bond between the armed forces and those who have served, affirming the commitment to their continued well-being and support.(DD)
