Udhampur :- Jammu & Kashmir Police in Udhampur achieve Sucess to arrested the Accused wanted under POCSO Act from Batote in Ramban district.
As Per Reports based on a complaint was lodged at Police Station Majalta by the parents of victim (minor girl). Based on the contents of the complaint a case FIR No. 115/2024 u/s 5 (j)(ii)/6/POCSO Act and 65(1)BNS Act got registered in the records of Police Station Majalta.
Immediately upon registration of FIR, various police teams were constituted and they swung into action to track and apprehended the accused.
Raids were conducted at various locations. After relentless efforts, police team successfully arrested the accused person namely Raj Kumar S/O Dharam Chand R/O Deot, Majalta from Batote area of Ramban district and further investigation is under progress.Udhampur Police is committed towards the safety and security of general public.TDD
