Week-long Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Concludes at Government Degree College Nobra

Leh,DD, A week-long ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ celebration concluded today at Government Degree College Nobra on 11th August 2025. The activities related to the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign carried out by the college included a demonstration by students on the procedure of hoisting of the national flag and sensitization of locals towards the Tiranga and its importance. The students also took part in a quiz competition on the various aspects of the constitution.

On 05.08.2025, students of the college interacted with locals and sensitized them about the significance of the national flag.

On 08.08.2025 students of the college gave an effective demonstration on the formal code procedure and protocol to be followed in the folding and hoisting of the national flag to the netizens.

The valedictory session held today on 11.08.2025 commenced with meaningful speeches by two college students namely Sanju Kumari and Zara Batul on the history and significance of Tiranga and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. It was followed by a quiz competition on the theme: “Know Your Constitution and National Symbols”. Three teams of students from different semesters took part in the quiz competition. The winners were conferred prizes on their brilliant performance. The session concluded with a formal speech by the principal of the college Professor Rigzin Sangdup. He apprised students about existing protocols related to the national flag and the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. He also encouraged the students to inculcate within nationalistic fervor and spirit. The events were coordinated by Jegmet Sangyas (Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science).DD
