Udhampur : In a significant move to bolster security along the Line of Control (LoC), Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps, conducted a comprehensive review of security measures in the Thanamandi sector of Rajouri district on Monday.
Accompanied by the GOC of the Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo), General Sachdeva undertook a detailed inspection of the upper reaches of the Pir Panjal range, assessing the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness. The visit comes in the wake of escalating terrorist activities in the Jammu and Kashmir region.

During his visit, the Army chief interacted with troops deployed in forward areas and commended their alertness and dedication. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a high degree of operational readiness to thwart any attempts by anti-national elements to disrupt peace in the region.
General Sachdeva also held discussions with local commanders to gain firsthand information about the ongoing counter-insurgency operations, infiltration bids, and intelligence gathering efforts. He reiterated the Army’s commitment to eliminating terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of the people residing in the region.
