Young man killed; truck driver injured at Margan Top road accident

KISHTWAR: TDD- A young man Thursday got killed, and another injured, when a truck met a road mishap near Naadi Balan, 6 kms from Margan Top, in Anantnag.
As per the reports, the truck bearing registration number JK03K – 2017 rolled down into a deep gorge near Naadi Balan. The truck was on its way to Warwan from Anantnag.
While negotiating a curve, the truck driver named Mumtaz (32), son of Mohd Ismail from Mathendu lost control over it, and it plunged into a gorge causing severe injuries to both the persons, including driver, and conductor.
However, the conductor of the truck namely Muzaffar Ali (28), son of Irshad Ahmed from Guridraman, succumbed to the injuries. The rescue teams rushed to the spot, and they shifted both to the hospital.
Inquiry proceedings have been initiated in this regard.TDD
