Kathua,DD, A heartwarming and harmonious scene unfolded in Lakhanpur ahead of the commencement of the Amarnath Yatra, as youth from the Sikh community extended a grand welcome to the Langar Committees dedicated to serving pilgrims. The gesture was a strong message of unity and brotherhood.
Sikh youths, including Harmeet Singh, Damanjeet Singh, and their team, garlanded the Langar Committee members and offered them sweets as a token of appreciation and respect. The gesture deeply moved the Langar Committee members, who expressed their gratitude to the Sikh community and appreciated the excellent arrangements made by the Jammu and Kashmir administration this year, ensuring smooth operations without any hindrance.
The Langar Committees stated they are fully prepared to provide free meals and essential services to the devotees during the pilgrimage. Meanwhile, the Sikh youth emphasized that their welcome represents unity, service, and harmony—values that are particularly significant during the sacred occasion of the Amarnath Yatra, where the coming together of different communities is a matter of pride.DD
