Kishtwar,(DD)In a significant initiative to promote road safety and responsible driving, a Traffic Awareness Lecture was held today at Government Degree College (GDC) Kishtwar. The event was organized in collaboration with the NSS and NCC units of the college and the Traffic Police NHW Ramban.
The programme commenced with a welcome address and an insightful message from Principal Dr. Basharat Iqbal, who emphasized the role of civic responsibility in ensuring safer roads. The keynote address was delivered by SSP Raja Adil Hamid, who spoke passionately about traffic rules, road discipline, and the crucial role of youth in building a culture of safety. His engaging lecture, enriched with real-life examples, left a lasting impression on the audience.
NSS and NCC volunteers actively participated in the interactive session, asking thoughtful questions and demonstrating strong interest in traffic awareness.
