Seeks restoration of statehood to J&K

Jammu: DD,Yuva Rajput Sabha today held a protest demonstration in Jammu, seeking restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
The Yuva members alleged that the unemployment has increased in Jammu and Kashmir, and criticised the dominance of outsiders.
In the shape of a rally, the protesters gathered at Tawi Bridge near Dogra Chowk and blocked the movement of the traffic whereas the police and paramilitary has been deployed in the protest area.
The protesters alleged that the crime has increased in Jammu that needs to be controlled.
They said that the restoration of statehood would address the growing concerns of the young generation regarding growing unemployment, drug addiction, and crime related incidents.
They cited a recent robbery at a jeweller shop by two thieves. Till the filing of this report, the protest was in progress.DD
