Leh,DD; The World Tuberculosis Day was observed at PHC Nyoma and across various locations, including AAM Skitmang, AAM Nidder, AAM Chumoor, AAM Koyoul, AAM Liktsey, AAM Samad Rokchan, AAM Hemya, AAM Rongo, AAM Tsaga, Tukla Phulak, AAM Mudh, AAM Teri, AAM Sumdho Puga, and PHC Nyoma. The theme of this year’s World Tuberculosis Day was “Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver.” The events aimed to raise awareness about tuberculosis, its causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment.

Various awareness campaigns and activities were initiated to create awareness among the people. PHC Nyoma celebrated World TB Day, aiming to raise awareness and educate the community about tuberculosis. The event highlighted the global effort to combat TB and the importance of early detection and treatment.

The program was inaugurated by the Block Medical Officer, who delivered a presentation outlining the significance of World TB Day. The key points discussed included understanding tuberculosis, the global and local TB burden, prevention and control measures, early case detection and treatment, and community involvement in TB control.

The session saw active participation from all health workers and staff at PHC Nyoma, with a total of 46 participants.
At AAM Skitmang, the team educated people about tuberculosis, its symptoms, and transmission. They encouraged individuals with symptoms to seek medical help promptly.

AAM Nidder observed World Tuberculosis Day with a focus on raising awareness about the disease, its signs and symptoms, prevention, treatment, and DOTs therapy.

AAM Chumoor organized a Health Mela, where participants were educated about tuberculosis and its prevention.
At AAM Koyoul, the team raised awareness about the causes, symptoms, and treatment of tuberculosis, emphasizing the importance of CBNAAT.

AAM Liktsey staff conducted an awareness campaign, educating people about tuberculosis, its causes, symptoms, and prevention.
AAM Samad Rokchan organized an event, raising awareness about tuberculosis, its causes, signs and symptoms, prevention, and DOTs therapy.

AAM Hemya observed World Tuberculosis Day, aiming to educate people about the impact of tuberculosis worldwide and efforts to prevent the disease.

AAM Rongo conducted an awareness campaign, educating people about tuberculosis, its signs and symptoms, causes, treatment, and DOTs therapy.

AAM Tsaga organized an event, educating school children about tuberculosis, its causes, symptoms, transmission, and prevention.
AAM Tukla Phulak observed World Tuberculosis Day, raising awareness about tuberculosis, its curability, and the importance of early detection and proper treatment.

AAM Mudh celebrated World Tuberculosis Day, educating people about the symptoms of tuberculosis and preventive measures.
AAM Teri observed the day, raising awareness about tuberculosis, its signs and symptoms, prevention, and treatment.

AAM Sumdho Puga conducted an awareness campaign, educating people about tuberculosis, its causes, signs and symptoms, treatment, and preventive measures.

Overall, the World Tuberculosis Day events across various locations aimed to raise awareness, educate people, and emphasize the importance of early detection and treatment in combating tuberculosis.DD
