SSP chairs ops cum Crime Review Meeting at DPL Udhampur

Udhampur, DD: SSP Udhampur Amod Ashok Nagpure- IPS chaired a crime review meeting at DPL Udhampur with ASP Udhampur, SP PC Dudu, SDPO’s, DySP PC’s, prosecution officers, SHO’s and Incharge PPs of District Udhampur.

At the outset, operational preparedness to thwart I’ll designs of ANEs, area domination, action against OGWs and inter agency coordination was deliberated upon. Directions were issued to all officers, for maintaining highest level of alertness and ensuring safety and security of all vulnerable areas and hotspots.

Police Station wise review of investigations of criminal cases registered in the district & Inquests proceedings , crime against women, action against drug peddlers, bovine smugglers were discussed threadbare. Besides this, progress of Police Stations on tracing of missing persons, absconders, solving of theft and burglary cases and execution of court processes were also discussed during the crime review meeting.

The feedback was taken from the SHOs of crime scenario of their respective Police stations.The SDPO’s discussed various important issues of their sub divisions including the progress achieved in ensuring maximum disposal of the Cases.

SSP Udhampur directed the officers to make all possible efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs and work dedicatedly to prevent social crimes, cyber crimes and other evils prevalent in the society.

All officers were instructed to adopt a public-centric approach and to remain amicable to the public in order to ensure redressal of their grievances. SSP Udhampur also laid emphasis on conducting Police Public meetings to strengthen the Police Public bond.DD
