ACD Kishtwar Conducts Field Visit, Holds Public Grievance Redressal Camp

Emphasizes Quality, Transparency, and Public Participation

Kishtwar,DD; Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar, Phulail Singh, conducted an extensive field visit to Panchayat Keshwan A & B and Dharbadan of Block Thakrie to inspect ongoing developmental works under MGNREGA, Capex, PMAY-G, and SBM-G.

During the visit, ACD Kishtwar inspected various developmental projects, including pathways and buildings, and stressed the importance of quality construction and durability. He warned officials and contractors against any laxity, stating that substandard work would not be tolerated. He also directed that every developmental project must have a Citizen Information Board (CIB) with full project details, ensuring transparency and public awareness.

At Dharbadan Panchayat, the ACD instructed Block Development Officer (BDO) Thakrie, Istiyaz Ahmed Molvi, to identify a suitable government land for the construction of a Panchayat Ghar. He highlighted the necessity of proper infrastructure to facilitate efficient governance at the grassroots level.

As part of his visit, ACD Kishtwar also held a public grievance redressal camp at Dharbadan and Keshwan-B, where he listened to public concerns and assured timely resolution. He directed the concerned officials to take immediate action on genuine grievances and urged the public to actively participate in the development process by providing feedback and suggestions.

The ACD emphasized the importance of sanitation, a drug-free society, and disease prevention, urging citizens to contribute toward carbon neutrality and responsible use of government assets. He also instructed government staff to maintain punctuality, transparency, and accountability, warning that any negligence in duty would be dealt with strictly.

The visit was attended by BDO Thakrie and other field officials, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to quality development and citizen welfare.DD
