40 polling parties dispatched for home voting in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR,TDD:- To facilitate home voting through postal ballots for absentee voters, including senior citizens and persons with disabilities, District Election Officer Udhampur, Saloni Rai, dispatched 40 polling parties today from the DC Office Complex.

These parties are tasked with covering four assembly constituencies—59 Udhampur West, 60 Udhampur East, 61 Chenani and 62 Ramnagar—on September 24th and 25th, 2024.

    In her address to the polling staff, the DEO emphasized the importance of coordination and efficiency in the election process. She urged the Returning Officers to ensure that the polling teams reach their assigned destinations on time, ensuring smooth execution of the postal ballot process for voters in distant areas. TDD
