Udhampur:- In a significant political development, independent candidate Pawan Khajuria ramped up his election campaign in the Udhampur East Assembly constituency on Thursday.
Khajuria conducted a whirlwind tour, addressing public gatherings in several areas including Channi, Mansar, Chaned, Sui, Kathil, Thalora, and Devi Mani. The candidate sought blessings and support from the constituents, who responded enthusiastically, assuring him of their backing. Supporters told Khajuria not to worry, stating that the public has taken up the task of ensuring his victory, likening the momentum to an unstoppable sewing machine.
Expressing gratitude, Khajuria pledged to work towards the progress and prosperity of the region, promising to address issues such as poor road conditions, and inadequate schools and hospitals. He announced a major rally scheduled for September 28, 2024, at Modi Ground at 11 AM, urging widespread participation. Khajuria reminded voters that his election symbol is a sewing machine with the serial number 7, calling on them to spread awareness about his candidacy and to cast their votes on October 1st.TDD
