Indian Army Organizes Clean Village, Plantation Drive at Sohal, Akhnoor

Akhnoor:DD, In its continued efforts to promote environmental awareness and strengthen the bond with local communities, the troops of the Crossed Swords Division under the aegis of the White Knight Corps organised a Clean Village and Plantation Drive at Sohal Village.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, youth and Army personnel.
During the drive, cleanliness activities were carried out in public areas, schools and community spaces, followed by a plantation programme aimed at enhancing the village’s green cover.
An awareness sessions were also conducted on waste management, personal hygiene and environmental conservation.


The Indian Army reaffirmed its commitment to community development and to upholding the ideals of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in rural areas.

The villagers appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude for the Indian Army’s continued support in fostering cleanliness, sustainability and ecological responsibility.DD
