LG Manoj Sinha Reviews Arrangements at Baltal Base Camp

Srinagar, (DD): The annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra has crossed the 3 lakh pilgrim mark, marking a significant milestone in this year’s pilgrimage. On Sunday, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Baltal Base Camp to take stock of the facilities and ensure smooth arrangements for devotees.
During his visit, the Lieutenant Governor interacted with pilgrims to gather feedback on the quality of services being provided. He expressed satisfaction over the seamless conduct of the yatra so far and appreciated the efforts of various departments working on the ground.
“Visited Baltal Base Camp today to review arrangements for the ongoing holy pilgrimage. Interacted with pilgrims to understand their experiences. Departments are working diligently to ensure that devotees have a smooth and comfortable darshan,” LG Sinha said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
He further added, “By the blessings of Baba Amarnath Ji, the yatra has crossed the 3 lakh mark today. This sacred journey continues to inspire faith and devotion. May Baba’s blessings bring peace, strength, and fulfilment to all. Har Har Mahadev!”
The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, which commenced on July 3, continues to witness a steady flow of pilgrims. Authorities have maintained a strong focus on security, logistics, and healthcare services to ensure a safe and spiritually uplifting experience for the devotees.(DD)
