Kishtwar: DD, Police today launched a massive search operation in the remote area of Marwah in hilly district Kishtwar, following specific inputs.
Acting swiftly on the information and to check the suspicious movements, the police personnel led by ASP Pardeep Singh and SDPO Vijay Bhagat under the supervision of SSP Kishtwar Naresh Singh launched the comprehensive search operation in the dense forests.
“The combing operation was launched in the dense forests, in a bid to keep check on the terror activities, and bring confidence among the people about the safe and secure environment provided by the police and other security forces,” said an official in the police department.
These search operations / area domination is important to check the suspected activities.
Importantly, the hilly district of Kishtwar has witnessed certain terror related activities and accordingly, a series of anti-terror special operations were launched to crack down against the terrorists.DD
