Jammu:DD- In a significant administrative development, Senior IPS Officer Bhim Sen Tuti on Monday assumed charge as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu, marking a new chapter in the region’s law enforcement leadership. Tuti, a distinguished officer from the 2004 batch of the Indian Police Service belonging to the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre, brings with him a wealth of experience from his numerous significant postings across the union territory.
Upon his arrival at the IGP office, Tuti received a warm welcome from senior police officials, including DIG JSK Range Shiv Kumar and SSP Jammu Joginder Singh, who were present to greet their new commanding officer. The ceremony reflected the seamless transition of leadership within the police force.
During his initial interaction with the officers, IGP Tuti emphasized the importance of maintaining high professional standards. He specifically called upon the officers to approach their duties with renewed zeal and dedication, placing particular emphasis on maintaining law and order in the region.
