Kishtwar,DD, The Sardar @150 event was organized on the eve of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, celebrating his vision of national unity and integrity. The programme was held in collaboration with the District Administration Kishtwar, reflecting a collective commitment to promoting the legacy of the Iron Man of India.
The event commenced with a Padyatra that started from TRC Kishtwar and culminated at Government Degree College (GDC) Kishtwar. A large number of NSS volunteers, led by the NSS Programme Officer, Prof. Esarul Ayub, enthusiastically participated in the rally. NCC cadets also took active part, adding discipline and vigour to the march.
During the Padyatra, students carried placards displaying messages on unity, national integration, and the contributions of Sardar Patel. Energetic slogans were raised, reflecting the spirit of togetherness and patriotism. The unity march attracted attention and appreciation from the local population, making it a successful and inspiring event.
The entire programme was conducted under the mentorship and guidance of the Worthy Principal, Prof. Basharat Iqbal, whose constant support ensured smooth coordination and meaningful execution.DD
