Jammu:DD, Under the ongoing Aatmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan (Self-Reliant India Campaign), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu East Mandal organized a Mandal-level conference today at Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Bhavan, Kachi Chhawni, under the leadership of Mandal President Adarsh Jathiyar.

The programme was attended by a large number of BJP workers, booth presidents, and Shakti Kendra in-charges from across the Jammu East constituency.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, MLA Yudhvir Sethi emphasized that the message of “Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi” (Every Home Self-Reliant, Every Home Swadeshi) is a crucial step towards realizing the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said that self-reliance begins at home, and every citizen must contribute by boycotting foreign goods and adopting indigenous products.
“True patriotism lies in strengthening India’s economy by using locally made goods and promoting Indian enterprise,” he added.

Speaking on behalf of the district unit, Advocate Arvind Khajuria elaborated on the concepts of ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi’, urging party karyakartas to actively promote the Swadeshi movement in their respective areas.

In his address, District President Advocate Rajesh Gupta reiterated the commitment to make Jammu district a model of self-reliance. He read out the Sankalp Patra (pledge document) and led all participants in taking a collective oath to promote Swadeshi products and reduce dependence on imported goods.

Mandal President Adarsh Jathiyar extended heartfelt gratitude to all participants, including district and mandal functionaries, booth-level workers, and Shakti Kendra Pramukhs, for making the programme a grand success.

The conference concluded with the reaffirmation of BJP’s mission to make India a Vishwaguru by strengthening local industries and promoting the spirit of self-reliance envisioned by Prime Minister Modi.DD
