Jammu,DD: Veterinary Camp was organized by BSF Jammu at village Atte-Wala-Jhora, R S Pura, District Jammu, for the welfare of the border population. The camp focused on providing essential medical aid to domestic animals belonging to border communities, raising awareness about animal diseases, especially during the changing season, and providing check-ups, vaccinations, deworming, and guidance on animal care and health.
During this event, Veterinary Officers of BSF Jammu, along with his team of veterinary doctors and government veterinary doctors from R S Pura, administered medicines to a large number of cattle, including cows, dogs, horses, buffaloes, and sheep. The team treated the affected animals and distributed medicines to the owners.
On this occasion BSF Officers said that this veterinary camp will offer essential medical care and valuable guidance to the animal owners and BSF has always been at the forefront of organizing such programmes for the welfare of the border populace and remains committed to its duty and service to the nation.DD
