Leh: DD, A meeting was chaired today by Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, to review the procedure of Birth and Death Certificates issuance.
The meeting was attended by Hon’ble Executive Councilor Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, DC/CEO Santosh Sukhadeve, SSP Leh Shruti Arora, Pamamik Councillor Tsering Sangdup, CMO Leh Dolma Chuskit, Tehsildar Leh Attaullah Khan, Incharge Medical Superintendent Dr. Jigmet Wangchuk, and MC Project Manager Sonam Wangmo.
MS, SNM, BMO Nubra, BMO Tangtse and BMO Khaltse attended the meeting online.
The discussion aimed to improve the overall system by addressing existing gaps in documentation requirements, with a special focus on non-institutional births and deaths prior to 2022. DD
