Congress chief falls ill in Kathua rally, resumes speech shortly, Says ‘Not going to die till Modi is removed’

Jammu, Sep 29 (TDD): All India Congress Committee (AICC) chief Malikarjun Kharge today paused his speech for a minute after feeling uncomfortable during a rally at Jasrota area of Kathua district. He, however, resumed his speech shortly after a break stating that he was not going to die until PM Narendera Modi is removed from his post.When he was about to conclude his speech, Kharge started feeling shaky forcing the Congress leaders to give him support. He had to pause his speech for a few minutes after that he resumed saying, “I am not going to die so early. I will stay alive till PM Narendera Modi is removed from power.”He said Congress will fight for restoration of Statehood. “I am 82 years old and I am not going to die till PM Modi is dethroned,” he said. Party leaders said that doctors from Kathua hospital attended to Kharge. “He is stable now,” a Congress leader said—(TDD)
