Srinagar,(DD) On a significant visit to the Kashmir Valley, Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Shri G.P. Singh, delivered an impassioned address to young recruits at the CRPF’s Recruit Training Centre (RTC) in Lethpora, Pulwama. Emphasising the force’s storied legacy, he urged the trainees to rise as torchbearers of discipline, courage, and national service.
The DG inaugurated a newly constructed Administrative Block at the RTC and interacted extensively with the training staff. He highlighted the pressing need to mould recruits in line with modern-day challenges, equipping them with the skills and mindset necessary to counter emerging security threats with agility and professionalism.
Later, at the 185 Battalion, Shri Singh conducted a comprehensive review of the unit’s infrastructure, administrative framework, and operational preparedness. Engaging directly with officers and personnel, he assessed ground conditions, addressed logistical concerns, and reinforced the CRPF’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of readiness across all deployments.
