Four Drug Peddlers with Heroin Like Substance in Nagrota, Jhajjar Kotli

Jammu:DD, Police today claimed to have achieved a significant breakthrough with the arrest of four drug peddlers and the recovery of heroin-like substances from their possession.
Police said that an operation was conducted under the overall supervision of SP Rural, SDPO Nagrota, and SHO Police Station Jhajjar Kotli.
During routine patrolling, a team from Police Post Manwal, led by its Incharge PSI Bhawani Singh and assisted by other officials, received credible information that four individuals were roaming in the area with the intent to sell contraband.
Acting swiftly, the team established a naka near Jindrah Road, Saloon. They intercepted a punch car bearing registration number JK02DP-9627 and a bullet motorcycle bearing registration number JK02CQ-7326.
During the search, police said that approximately 8 grams of heroin-like substance were recovered from the possession of the accused.
The accused persons were subsequently arrested by the police.


The arrested persons have been identified as Rohit Jamwal, Abhishek Jamwal, Arvind Singh alias Kaka, and Aditya Singh alias Veeru, resident of Jandrah.
Accordingly, FIR No. 134/2025 under Sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli for further investigation.DD
